Jane Temperley

I trained as a textile designer and went to develop my career in retail, however, I really discovered my love of print making about 15 years ago. My inspiration comes from the Wiltshire countryside and wildlife near my home. Over the years I find myself pulled back to several themes and these appear often in my work, favourites are Owls, Fish, Trees and Landscapes.

My most recent work has been based on fish. The collection on show are based round my love of water and my experiences as a scuba diver. Being under water gives a different view of the subject and through my mono printing techniques, use of colour and texture I try to convey the magic seeing fish in their own environment.
